Genuinely this is a sweet story. The fact that the sniper advisor (the one with the modest pile of hat) offered to the king to give him another chance is quite sweet. I feel like he tried to kindle a friendship with the bushman sniper judging by him getting a drink and complementing his necklace. Of course, bushman acted too rash and accidentally killed him. Judging by his reaction to seeing his grave, he probably feels as if he did not know flipping the table would kill him. Also I feel like him became a necklace making maniac was because of a mixture of anger, guilt and obligation.
